About Our Scholarships
The Beta Pi Sigma Sorority, Inc. (BPS) Scholarships are granted to worthy high school and college students to further their education in the business and professional world. BPS has two National Scholarships for high school students. Any graduating senior may apply for these scholarships regardless of sex, creed, or ethnic origin.
• Helen Gaines – Cleatter Saul Memorial Supporting Award: given to a sophomore student enrolled in college full-time based on scholastic achievement and financial need.
Who is Eligible?
College Students: Must be full-time college sophomore entering junior year with at least a 3.0 GPA.
How are Recipients Selected?
Scholarship is awarded to students based on scholastic achievement and financial need. Only completed applications will be considered. All requested information must be received by June 30th.
Scholarship winner will receive official notification by U.S. mail in August. The National Scholarship Chairperson of Beta Pi Sigma Sorority, Inc. will mail the disbursement check to the final recipient upon verification of full-time enrollment.
How Much are the Awards?
BPS will award one $1,600 scholarship to a full-time college sophomore entering their junior year .
How to Apply?
Return the completed application, essay (describe any special family circumstances or needs if applicable), one (1) original and one (1) photocopy of official college transcript in the Registrar’s sealed envelope, three (3) letters of recommendation, and two (2) recent clear photographs of applicant only (photographs will not be returned) by June 30th.
